Since the ransomware group’s founding in February 2024, threat actors connected to it have encrypted and stolen data from at least 210 victims, according to information released by the US government.
The victims come from a variety of industries, including information technology, government services and facilities, emergency services, food and agriculture, water and wastewater, commercial facilities, critical manufacturing, transportation, and communications infrastructure, and healthcare and public health.
Formerly known as Cyclops and Knight, RansomHub is a ransomware-as-a-service variant that has made a name for itself as an effective and lucrative service model.
