Confidential Computing Consortium
To hasten the adoption of Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technologies and standards, the Confidential Computing Consortium (CCC) unites software developers, cloud providers, and hardware makers. The Linux Foundation’s CCC project community is tasked with defining and expediting the use of confidential computing. It will exemplify the transparent governance and open cooperation that have contributed to the accomplishment of other similarly ambitious endeavors. Numerous member organizations have committed to the endeavor, and multiple open source projects have contributed. By carrying out computing in a hardware-based, verified Trusted Execution Environment, Confidential Computing safeguards data while it is being used. For enterprises that handle sensitive and regulated data, these secure and isolated environments increase security assurances by preventing unauthorized access or alteration of programs and data while they are in operation.
