A planned class action lawsuit alleging that the iPhone manufacturer violated consumers’ privacy by utilizing its voice-activated Siri assistant has been settled with Apple for $95 million.

Those who currently or previously owned or purchased a Siri-enabled device in the United States and whose private voice conversations with the assistant “obtained by Apple and/or were shared with third-parties as a result of an unintended Siri activation” between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024, are covered by the settlement.
