Russian law enforcement authorities have detained the purported administrator of the LeakBase cybercrime site, according to state media on Thursday.
The suspect is a resident of Taganrog, according to TASS and MVD Media, a news outlet connected to the Russian Interior Ministry. According to reports, the defendant has been in custody since 2021 for setting up and running a criminal website that facilitated the exchange of stolen personal records.
