NY man charged after harassing college student with AI-generated nudes
A New York man is accused of cyberstalking after allegedly using fictitious social media personas to torment a college student in Georgia by posting AI-generated nude photos and racist texts.
Anthony Belford, 21, was charged with one count of cyberstalking by a federal grand jury, and he was arraigned on June 10.
The victim and Belford were both students at the same college in 2023–2024. Belford allegedly became aware of the victim's August 2024 transfer to a Georgia institution and started pursuing her there.
