Hitachi Vantara takes servers offline after Akira ransomware attack
The business offers cloud management, infrastructure systems, data storage, and ransomware recovery services to government agencies and some of the biggest companies in the world, such as China Telecom, BMW, Telefónica, and T-Mobile.
Hitachi Vantara acknowledged the ransomware attack in a statement provided to BleepingComputer, stating that company has engaged outside cybersecurity specialists to look into the incident's effects and is currently attempting to bring all impacted systems online.
