BeyondTrust Zero-Day Breach Exposed 17 SaaS Customers via Compromised API Key
BeyondTrust has disclosed that it has finished looking into a recent cybersecurity incident that used a leaked API key to target a few of the company's Remote Support SaaS instances.
According to the firm, the API key was used to reset local application passwords, allowing illegal access to 17 Remote Support SaaS clients. The initial notice of the breach was given on December 5, 2024.
