U.S. Offers $10 Million for Info on Russian Cadet Blizzard Hackers Behind Major Attacks
A Russian hacking organization known as Cadet Blizzard has been publicly linked by the United States government and a coalition of foreign partners to the General Staff Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) 161st Specialist Training Center (Unit 29155).
According to the agencies, since at least 2020, these cybercriminals have been operating computer networks against international targets with the intent of espionage, sabotage, and damage to their reputation.
The main objective of the cyber actors from the beginning of 2022 seems to be to target and obstruct relief attempts in Ukraine.
