Spain’s Ministry of Science shuts down systems after breach claims
The IT systems of Spain's Ministry of Science (Ministerio de Ciencia) will be partially shut down, impacting a number of services that are accessible to both citizens and businesses.
The Spanish government agency in charge of scientific policy, research, innovation, and higher education is called the Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades.
Among other things, it keeps up with the administrative systems that researchers, academic institutions, and students use to manage sensitive, high-value data.
