Chick-fil-A discloses data breach after credential stuffing attacks
Following a wave of recent credential stuffing assaults, the American fast-food restaurant business Chick-fil-A is alerting an unspecified number of customers about a data breach.
Chick-fil-A, which claims to be the third-largest quick-service restaurant chain in the US, has over 3,000 locations and offers catering services in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, the UK, and Singapore.
The firm disclosed that it discovered the attacks after noticing unusual login activity to certain Chick-fil-A One accounts in data breach notification letters delivered to impacted people and submitted with many Attorney General offices.
The attackers attacked Chick-fil-A's website and mobile app in June, as the company found out while looking into the incident.
