Chinese Hacker Group ‘Flea’ Targets American Ministries with Graphican Backdoor
In a recent effort that ran from late 2022 to early 2023, a Chinese state-sponsored actor under the name of Flea specifically targeted foreign affairs ministries in the Americas.
A new backdoor with the codename Graphican was used in the cyberattacks, according to Broadcom's Symantec. A government finance division, a business that sells goods in the Americas, as well as an unidentified victim in a European nation, were some of the other targets.
