New Chrome Zero-Day Vulnerability CVE-2024-4761 Under Active Exploitation

In response to a fresh zero-day vulnerability in the Chrome web browser that is being actively exploited in the wild, Google released emergency remedies on Monday. This high-severity vulnerability affects the V8 JavaScript and WebAssembly engine and is listed as CVE-2024-4761. It is an out-of-bounds write flaw. On May 9, 2024, it was reported anonymously.
