Clop ransomware is now extorting 66 Cleo data-theft victims
Following its announcement on its dark web blog that 66 organizations had 48 hours to comply with the demands, the Clop ransomware gang began extorting victims of its Cleo data theft assaults.
To conduct ransom payment talks, the cybercriminals declared that they are reaching out to those businesses directly and offering links to a secure chat channel. Additionally, they gave victims email addresses so they could contact them directly.
