AI Chatbot Recommendations Redirect Users to Cryptojacking Malware Sites
Microsoft has issued a warning about an ongoing cryptojacking campaign that uses chatbot conversations powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to expose dangerous download sites.According to a paper released on Tuesday by Microsoft Defender Experts and the Microsoft Defender Security Research Team, "this emerging delivery technique extends social engineering beyond conventional search results and increases the visibility of malicious software recommendations."
