BatLoader Impersonates ChatGPT and Midjourney in Cyber Attacks
The malicious campaign being run by the threat actor known as BatLoader to distribute fake ChatGPT and Midjourney web pages has been seen in action.
In an advisory released on Tuesday, security experts from eSentire's Threat Response Unit (TRU) revealed the campaign.
According to the technical write-up, "[ChatGPT and Midjourney] are extremely popular but lack first-party standalone apps (i.e., users interface with ChatGPT via their web interface while Midjourney uses Discord)".
