BreachForums Admin Arrested in New York
This week, a New York citizen was detained for hosting the infamous cybercrime forum known as BreachForums.
Conor Brian Fitzpatrick of Peekskill was arrested the day after an FBI investigation and charged with conspiring to commit access device fraud, according to court documents submitted last Wednesday. Fitzpatrick was detained but then released on bond, according to Bloomberg, and is now scheduled to show up in federal court on Friday.
