Bohemia and Cannabia Dark Web Markets Taken Down After Joint Police Operation
Bohemia and Cannabia, the world's largest and longest-running dark web bazaar for illicit items, drugs, and cybercrime services, has been taken down, according to the Dutch authorities.
According to the Politie, the takedown is the outcome of a cooperative investigation that started at the end of 2022 and involved the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
The marketplace ceased operations in late 2023 due to complaints of service interruptions and exit scams, resulting from an alleged rogue developer and what one of the administrators called a "shameful and disgruntled set of events."
