Google Reports 75 Zero-Days Exploited in 2024 44% Targeted Enterprise Security Products
According to Google, the number of zero-day vulnerabilities exploited in the wild decreased from 98 in 2023 to 75 in 2024.
Enterprise products were the target of 44% of the 75 zero-day attacks. Up to 20 security software and appliance issues were found.
According to a Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) analysis shared with The Hacker News, zero-day exploitation of mobile devices and browsers has substantially decreased, falling by almost half for mobile devices and by approximately a third for browsers compared to what we saw last year.
