Feds launch probe into China’s US gov email hack
US legislators have launched an investigation into the recent email attack of numerous government agencies, which is thought to have been committed by a hacking group supported by Beijing as part of a larger cyberespionage operation.
The US House of Representatives Oversight Committee's investigation will ascertain the degree, if any, of China's alleged participation in the hacking of the Commerce and State Department email networks last month.
