European Privacy Group Sues TikTok and AliExpress for Illicit Data Transfers to China
Austrian non-profit privacy Companies such as TikTok, AliExpress, SHEIN, Temu, WeChat, and Xiaomi have been accused by None of Your Business (noyb) of illegally sending user data to China in violation of EU data protection laws.
The advocacy organization claims that the corporations in question are unable to protect user data from possible access by the Chinese government and is calling for an immediate suspension of such transfers.
