Dutch Authorities Confirm Ivanti Zero-Day Exploit Exposed Employee Contact Data
In a notice sent to the nation's parliament on Friday, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) and the Council for the Judiciary confirmed that both organizations (Rvdr) have revealed that their systems were affected by cyberattacks that took advantage of the recently revealed security vulnerabilities in Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM).
According to Dutch authorities, the provider notified the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) of EPMM vulnerabilities on January 29. The security of mobile devices, apps, and content is managed by EPMM.
It is now known that unauthorized individuals have gained access to AP workers' work-related information, including names, business email addresses, and phone numbers.
