Apple and Google Partner to Stop AirTag Stalking
To prevent the abuse of location-tracking gadgets like AirTag, Apple, and Google have presented a suggested industry specification.
According to the tech giants' specifications, iOS and Android platforms' unauthorized tracking detection and notifications would be compatible with Bluetooth-enabled devices used to track personal things.
As stated by Dave Burke, Google's vice president of Engineering for Android, "Bluetooth trackers have produced tremendous user benefits, but they also bring the potential for unauthorized tracking, which requires industry-wide action to solve."
