KwikTrip all but says IT outage was caused by a cyberattack
Kwik Trip has issued a new statement regarding the current outage, virtually confirming that it was the victim of a cyberattack that caused disruptions to its IT systems.
Over 800 convenience stores and petrol stations in Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin are part of the Kwik Trip US business; in Illinois, Iowa, and South Dakota, the Kwik Star brand is used. The organization has more than 35,000 workers.
Kwik Trip/Kwik Star has been dealing with an IT outage since October 8th, which has affected its phone, email, support services, and Kwik Rewards program.
