UK arrests ‘Scattered Spider’ teens linked to Transport for London hack
In the UK, two teens have been detained in connection with the August 2024 hack on Transport for London.
18-year-old Owen Flowers from Walsall and 19-year-old Thalha Jubair from East London are expected to appear before Westminster Magistrates Court today. They are thought to be members of the infamous Scattered Spider hacking organization.
After being questioned by UK National Crime Agency agents, Flowers was freed on bail following his previous detention for allegedly participating in the September 2024 TfL attack.
Since then, more evidence that may connect Flowers to attacks on American healthcare companies has been discovered by NCA investigators.
