Google Bans 158,000 Malicious Android App Developer Accounts in 2024
According to Google, in 2024, it banned more than 158,000 malicious developer accounts that tried to publish more than 2.36 million Android apps that violated its policies from the Google Play app store.
The internet giant added that by collaborating with third-party app developers, it was able to stop 1.3 million apps from gaining undue or disproportionate access to private user data during that time.
