Google announced that it will now include additional security alerts when users download files using its Chrome web browser that may be harmful or questionable.
The Chrome Security team's Jasika Bawa, Lily Chen, and Daniel Rubery announced that we have updated our earlier warning messages with more thorough ones that convey more subtlety about the nature of the hazard and can assist users in making more educated decisions.
To achieve this, the massive search engine is launching a two-tier download warning taxonomy: suspicious files and dangerous files, which are based on determinations made by Google Safe Browsing.
