Apple Warns Users in 110 Countries They May Be Targets of Mercenary Spyware
Customers that Apple believes may have been the subject of mercenary malware assaults received a new round of notifications on Thursday.
The iPhone manufacturer stated in a statement given to TechCrunch that it has already notified customers in more than 150 countries and that it has warned an undisclosed number of users in 110 countries. In late 2021, Apple started alerting consumers about threats.
According to the IT giant, mercenary spyware attacks are among the most sophisticated digital dangers available today because to their high cost, sophistication, and global reach.
