Microsoft unveils free EU cybersecurity program for governments

Today in Berlin, Microsoft unveiled a new European Security Program that will help European nations improve cybersecurity. It extends to Microsoft's current Government Security Program, which is available to all EU nations, including accession states, members of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), the United Kingdom, Monaco, and the Vatican, at no cost. The program's primary goal, according to the internet giant, is to stop attacks by state-backed entities in China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia that have intensified their activities against the EU.
