Chinese cyberspies use new SSH backdoor in network device hacks
By inserting malware into the process, a Chinese hacker collective is taking control of the SSH daemon on network appliances in order to conduct secret operations and maintain continuous access.
The Chinese cyber-espionage group Evasive Panda, also known as DaggerFly, has been responsible for strikes using the recently discovered attack suite since mid-November 2024.
