According to Group-IB, a recently identified Chinese phishing gang has increased its operations in the Middle East with new con games meant to collect victims' personal and financial information.
Following its discovery of a smishing operation in APAC imitating postal brands and toll operators in April 2023, the Singapore-based threat intelligence company announced the existence of the "PostalFurious" organization.
