Massive PSAUX ransomware attack targets 22000 CyberPanel instances
A PSAUX ransomware assault that targeted over 22,000 CyberPanel instances that were vulnerable to a severe remote code execution (RCE) flaw online forced nearly all of the instances offline.
CyberPanel 2.3.6 (and probably 2.3.7) has three separate security flaws that might lead to an exploit that grants unauthenticated remote root access without authentication, according to security researcher DreyAnd's disclosure this week.
