NHS is Most Scammed UK Government Brand
According to the National Cyber Security Centre, the National Health Service (NHS) was the UK government entity most commonly impersonated in alleged email frauds last year (NCSC).
The NCSC asserted that during the course of the year, 6.4 million reports from the general public were sent to its hugely popular Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS), which led to the removal of 67,300 phishing and scam URLs.
It's maybe not surprising that the NHS ranked first among those named in reports that led to takedowns because it is one of the government's best-known "brands."
