Google Play, Apple App Store apps caught stealing crypto wallets
The malicious software development kit (SDK) found in Android and iOS apps available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store is made to use optical character recognition (OCR) stealers to steal recovery phrases for cryptocurrency wallets.
Developers are probably unaware that they are taking part in the campaign, which is named "SparkCat" after the name ("Spark") of one of the malicious SDK components in the compromised apps.
