Microsoft removes revenge porn from Bing search using new tool
Microsoft revealed today that it has teamed up with StopNCII to use digital hashes users generate from their private media to proactively delete offensive personal photos and videos from Bing.
Through the Revenge Porn Helpline's project StopNCII, users can digitally hash their personal photos and videos without having to upload them from their phone. Following that, StopNCII adds these hashes to a database that is used to locate identical or comparable photos on the internet. Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, Pornhub, Instagram, OnlyFans, and Snapchat are among their partners that remove these images.
