T-Mobile confirms it was hacked in recent wave of telecom breaches
T-Mobile acknowledges that it was compromised in the recent wave of well publicized telecom hacks by Chinese threat actors in order to obtain call logs, private messages, and information demands from law enforcement.
T-Mobile told the Wall Street Journal, which broke the story first, that it is closely monitoring this industry-wide attack and that "as of right now, T-Mobile systems and data have not been impacted in any significant way, and we have no evidence of impacts to customer information."
