Critical Flaws in Tank Gauge Systems Expose Gas Stations to Remote Attacks
Six separate Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) systems from five different manufacturers have had critical security flaws revealed in them that might leave them vulnerable to remote attacks.
According to Pedro Umbelino, a researcher at Bitsight, these vulnerabilities present serious concerns in the real world since bad actors might use them to inflict extensive harm, such as physical harm, environmental dangers, and financial losses. The report was released last week.
