Tudou Guarantee Marketplace Halts Telegram Transactions After Processing Over $12 Billion
According to recent research from Elliptic, a Telegram-based guarantee marketplace that was well-known for promoting a wide range of illegal services seems to be closing.
Tudou Guarantee has effectively stopped doing transactions through its public Telegram channels after a period of notable expansion, according to the blockchain intelligence firm. The platform is thought to have handled more than $12 billion in transactions, making it the third-biggest illegal marketplace ever.
It's unclear if this is the beginning of a complete shutdown or a shift away from fraud-related activity because other aspects of Tudou Guarantee, like its casino operations, are still operating, the business stated.
