Trellix Confirms Source Code Breach With Unauthorized Repository Access
Trellix, a cybersecurity company, has disclosed that it experienced a breach that allowed unauthorized access to a "portion" of its source code.
It claimed to have "recently identified" the hack of its source code repository and to have started collaborating with "leading forensic experts" to find a quick solution. It added that the issue has been reported to police enforcement.
The precise type of data that the attackers might have accessed was not disclosed by Trellix. It did, however, note that there are no signs that its source code has been compromised or abused.
The business stated, "We have not discovered any evidence that our source code release or distribution process was impacted or that our source code has been exploited based on our investigation to date."
