UK Government Plans Skills Boost for Public Sector Fraud Fight

The UK government has made public what it calls ambitious plans to strengthen the public sector employees' ability to detect and combat fraud. The Public Sector Fraud Authority (PSFA), which was unveiled late last year, would be in charge of the new Anti-Fraud Profession Strategy. By the end of 2023, the government plans to train 250 fraud risk experts in addition to upskilling 7000 counter-fraud workers.
