Hackers Use CAPTCHA Trick on Webflow CDN PDFs to Bypass Security Scanners
False PDF documents hosted on the Webflow content delivery network (CDN) have been used in a massive phishing campaign that aims to commit financial fraud and steal credit card information.
According to researcher Jan Michael Alcantara of Netskope Threat Labs, the attacker targets victims who are using search engines to look for papers. This leads to the victims being presented with a malicious PDF that contains a CAPTCHA picture coupled with a phishing link, which prompts them to divulge important information.
