Microsoft’s January 2024 Windows Update Patches 48 New Vulnerabilities
As part of its January 2024 Patch Tuesday upgrades, Microsoft fixed 48 security vulnerabilities across all of its software.
Two of the 48 bugs are classified as critical, and the remaining 46 are classified as important. This is the second straight Patch Tuesday without zero days, as there is no indication that any of the problems were actively being attacked or were known to the public at the time of release.
The Chromium-based Edge browser has had nine security flaws fixed since December 2023 Patch Tuesday updates were released. These solutions are on top of those already fixed.
