Cybersecurity company Cisco Talos has found a new cyberthreat campaign called “Horabot” that targets Spanish-speaking consumers in the Americas.

The botnet software known as Horabot is in charge of disseminating a financial Trojan and spam tool. It has been operational since November 2020. The threat actor responsible for the effort is reportedly thought to be based in Brazil, according to an advisory sent by Cisco Talos earlier today.
