Three hackers who were a part of Russia’s military intelligence service (GRU) Unit 29155 were sanctioned by the European Union for their roles in 2020 cyberattacks against Estonian government agencies.
The EU Council claims today that GRU officers Yuriy Denisov, Vitaly Shevchenko, and Nikolay Korchagin broke into multiple Estonian ministries and took thousands of confidential papers.
