A sophisticated mobile phishing (also known as mishing) campaign that aims to spread a new version of the Antidot banking malware has been revealed by cybersecurity researchers.
According to a recent investigation by Zimperium zLabs researcher Vishnu Pratapagiri, the attackers pretended to be recruiters and lured unwary victims with employment offers.
The phishing effort deceives victims into downloading a malicious program that functions as a dropper, ultimately installing the upgraded version of Antidot Banker on their device as part of their fake recruiting process.
