CareCloud, a healthcare IT company, has revealed a data breach incident that resulted in the exposure of private information and an eight-hour network outage.
In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the New Jersey-based business stated that hackers gained access to its IT infrastructure on March 16.
According to the SEC filing, CareCloud, Inc. experienced a brief network disruption in its CareCloud Health division on March 16, 2026, which partially affected the functionality and data access to one of its six electronic health record environments for about eight hours before the company fully restored all functionality and data access that evening.
