LetMeSpy spyware maker shuts down over data breach

Two months after hackers stole private customer information from its servers, Android spyware vendor LetMeSpy will stop operating.

LetMeSpy has made the announcement that it would cease operations. In June, hackers broke into the company’s networks, grabbed a large amount of user data, and deleted all of the servers.

The company’s website has a statement headed “permanent shutdown” that states, “We would like to kindly inform you that as of August 31st, 2023, the letmespy.com website will cease operations.”
