A new campaign dubbed PEAPOD, which offers an updated version of RomCom RAT, has identified European Union military personnel and political officials involved in gender equality activities as its target audience.

The attacks were credited to a threat actor that Trend Micro tracks under the name Void Rabisu, which is also thought to be connected to the Cuba ransomware and goes by the names Storm-0978, Tropical Scorpius, and UNC2596.
