Security experts sniffing around dangerous new malware Decoy Dog

A small group of threat actors, ostensibly nation-state hackers, are actively using and creating Decoy Dog, a serious new malware toolkit. According to Infoblox, this uses the domain name system (DNS) to command and control a highly focused and very limited number of active clients.

Following its initial revelation in April, Decoy Dog’s developers reacted quickly by changing their methods to assure continued functioning and access to already infected devices.
