A recent analysis from The Citizen Lab claims that spyware created by the Israeli business Paragon Solutions is probably used by the governments of Australia, Canada, Cyprus, Denmark, Israel, and Singapore.
Established in 2019 by Ehud Barak and Ehud Schneorson, Paragon is the manufacturer of Graphite, a surveillance tool that can extract private information from a device’s instant messaging apps.
The transdisciplinary lab claimed that after mapping the server architecture thought to be connected to the malware, it had “suspected Paragon deployments” in the six governments.
