New SparrowDoor Backdoor Variants Found in Attacks on U.S. and Mexican Organizations

FamousSparrow, a Chinese threat actor, has been connected to a cyberattack that aimed to deliver its flagship backdoor SparrowDoor and ShadowPad to a research center in Mexico and a trade group in the United States. Indictments against seven Chinese nationals were made public by the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) on Monday.
